The Exotic Wildlife Association is celebrating its 56th Anniversary as one of the oldest private property rights associations in the country. Please join us March 2 - 5 in San Marcos, Texas at Embassy Suites ~ San Marcos.
We will begin the activities on Thursday with golf, followed by Texas Hold’em that evening. On Friday we will have lunch and a DNA registry meeting followed by seminars by some of the leading experts in the industry. The silent auction will open. All bidding for the silent auction will be done online. The silent auction items will be available to see throughout the weekend. We will have dinner, the Fallow Video Auction and the Grand Auction wrapping up the activities for Friday.
One of the most important events of the weekend is the Annual Membership Meeting and election of Directors on Saturday morning. This year’s slate of candidates come from very diverse backgrounds and offer the expertise necessary to move this association in a very positive direction. Your Association’s Directors set the policy and procedures for this organization and have made the EWA one of the top associations in the nation. If you choose to bring your ballot to AMM it must be turned in at the registration desk no later than noon on Friday, March 3rd.
Saturday afternoon’s Annual Exotic Video Auction is the premier exotic auction in the country. This year’s 21st Annual Auction will be offering some of the finest non-native hoofstock consignments to be found anywhere. This is an excellent opportunity to stock a new ranch or sell some of your excess stock. Please contact Vick Jones (830-279-5822), our Auction Committee Chairman or the EWA office with your consignments (Consignment Forms with strict deadlines are enclosed). Saturday evening will conclude with dinner, the special awards ceremony, a cornhole tournament and casino.
