EWA's 57th Annual Membership Meeting

The Exotic Wildlife Association is celebrating its 57th Anniversary as one of the oldest private property rights associations in the country.  Please join us March 7 - 10, 2024 at Embassy Suites in San Marcos, TX

We are dedicating Thursday afternoon to EWA’s DNA Registry.  Seminars will begin at 1 pm with a tutorial on How to Navigate the Registry website, Fallow Antler Scoring and Tips for AI-ing.   There will be a meet and greet with Dr. Rob Grahn from UC Davis.  We will have our annual Texas Hold’em Tournament that evening. 

Friday at 10 am the indoor & outdoor exhibits open, photo contest registration begins, silent auction online bidding begins and the Bloody Mary & Mimosa bar opens. The registry meeting with Shelly Evatt will begin at 10 am as well with Dr. Rob Grahn from UC Davis. Beginning at 1 pm we have seminars by leading experts in the industry. Cocktail hour at 4 pm followed by dinner, the Fallow Buck Draft and EWA’s Premier Axis & Fallow Auction. We have some exciting entertainment to wrap up the activities for Friday.

Saturday at 9 am the Annual Membership Meeting and election of Directors will begin. This year’s slate of candidates come from very diverse backgrounds and offer the expertise necessary to move this association in a very positive direction.  Your Association's Directors set the policy and procedures for this organiztion and have made EWA one of the top associations in the nation.     

Saturday afternoon’s Annual Exotic Conservation Auction is the premier exotic auction in the country.  This year’s 22nd Annual Exotic Conservation Auction will be offering some of the finest non-native hoofstock consignments to be found anywhere.  This is an excellent opportunity to stock a new ranch or sell some of your excess stock.  Please contact Vick Jones (830-279-5822), our Auction Committee Chairman or email your consignment forms & pictures to suzanne@myewa.org. (Consignment Forms with strict deadlines are enclosed).  Saturday evening will conclude with dinner, the special awards ceremony, Grand Auction, Casino and entertainment to wrap up the weekend’s activities.
